The guitar is one of the most popular musical instruments all around the globe. Because of this, it is no wonder there are so many types of guitars to choose from when one decides to buy.
First of all, there is the acoustic type. Classic, wooden and very gentle, it is helping our mind conceive images of a winter in the mountain, with the friends who play pop, rock or even country music. They are also chosen for a beginner musician as well as by people who don’t have a large budget, but want to study a string instrument. Then, there are the electric guitars. Naturally, the first image that comes to mind are a bunch of beer-drinking young, or not so young, males who are head banging to the sound of at least a couple electric guitars, played by their favorite rock or metal band on the stage. Of course, since we people tend to be of the indecisive kind, with time appeared also the electric-acoustic guitars. For those who don’t know, generally, they are acoustic guitar with extras. Strangely enough, many prefer putting twelve-string and double necks into two different categories, although these specifications are pretty cosmetic and/or physical to be considered equal in genre to the entirely different acoustic and electric sounds. It is, however, the right of the specialists to put whatever they want into whichever group they want. Last but not least, there are the arch tops, steels, gibson sg , Resonators and naturally, the bass guitar which is so different to the others, that it can easily have a whole page by itself with all subspecies and subtitles.
