Creativeness has always been there in the world. Unfortunately, it was never realized until now. Today, there is a new term to define the creativeness of people ‘creative industries’. However, not many people are quite aware of it or they don’t know much about creative industries. To put it in the most simplified manner, creative industries are those which are related to the creative side of people such as music, film and TV, theater, performing arts, etc. All of these professions that were previously scattered into different groups are now summed up under the creative industries title.
What you need to know about creative industries is the fact that every country has its own regulations regarding it. Every country has its own rules and priorities according to which its creative industries act. Creative industries, as we all know play an important role in development of a society and therefore it is directly linked with the cultural and ethnic values of a region.
Even though a large portion of creative industries is occupied by arts and entertainment, it is not completely based upon just these two fields. Apart from arts and entertainment, there are other professions or fields as well which are now considered a part of creative industries. For instance, journalism which neither belongs to arts nor to entertainment is a part of creative industries. There are other similar fields as well which are a part of creative industries but are not a part of the entertainment and arts field.
